Qualifications include:

  • A terminal degree (PhD, MD, etc.) in a biological, physiological, or health science field is required
    • Advanced ABD (or equivalent) will also be considered
  • Teaching or mentoring experience at the college/university level is required
  • Interest and/or experience in undergraduate student advising is required
  • Experience in academia, the life sciences industry, or medicine is preferred
  • Potential to develop independent and/or collaborative scholarship at Boston University is required

The Department of Health Sciences is part of a vibrant Boston University academic and research community that includes 17 schools and colleges across the Charles River and Medical campuses, including the Boston University School of Medicine as well as other institutions in the Boston area.
