Saint Louis University is looking for an adjunct instructor to teach two graduate education courses within the exercise physiology and exercise testing and prescription coursework: DPT3230 Exercise Physiology and DIET5700 Exercise Testing and Prescription.Â These courses examine types of physical fitness assessment, exercise and exercise prescription, muscle physiology and training regimens to improve muscle strength, power and endurance. There is a focus on preparation for the American College of Sports Medicine Personal Trainer Certification. Cardiovascular and pulmonary responses to exercise and training regimens, concepts of obesity and its management emergency procedures and planning, risk stratification, and special needs for pediatric, pregnant, and older individuals are topics included in these courses.Â Contemporary expertise and evidence of teaching experience are required.Â
