POSITION: Assistant Professor. This is a nine-month tenure-track position in the School of Kinesiology beginning no sooner than January 2025 and no later than August 2025. Rank will be determined based on the requirements for Assistant Professor as described in the School of Kinesiology, College of Education, and Auburn University tenure and promotion guidelines. We are seeking an exercise physiologist who has research expertise in the field of exercise physiology (including; biochemistry of exercise, bioenergetics, cardiovascular disease, health disparities, infrared imaging, mitochondrial metabolism, protein metabolism, skeletal and cardiac muscle physiology, nutrition, sports nutrition, pediatric physiology, thermoregulation, neural/autonomic physiology, and vascular biology and physiology).
