The Department of Molecular & Integrative Physiology at the University of Michigan Medical School invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with preference given to applicants seeking their first position or current assistant professors. We seek outstanding colleagues, whose research addresses cutting-edge questions in any area of gastrointestinal physiology and related diseases including but not limited to gastrointestinal inflammatory diseases and cancers
Successful candidates will be part of an interactive and interdisciplinary environment in one of the top physiology departments in the world and will work side-by-side with researchers uncovering fundamental basic biology and mechanisms of human disease using a wide range of molecular, cellular, and organismal systems. The department has a supportive departmental community that prioritizes transformative science along with training the next generation of scientific leaders.
