The Department of Health and Human Physiology at the University of Iowa invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Instruction, Associate Professor of Instruction, or Professor of Instruction position teaching undergraduate courses in the department, with a start date in January or August 2025. This is an instructional-track (non-tenure) faculty position with opportunities for promotion if criteria are met (Associate Professor of Instruction, Professor of Instruction). The position is renewable in one-year increments for the first three years, and renewable thereafter in three- or five-year increments (depending on rank).

Applications are sought from candidates who have: 1) demonstrated evidence of outstanding teaching in the following areas: human physiology, and/or human anatomy and physiology and other related courses within the candidate's expertise. 2) excellent communication skills. Applicants must have a master's or PhD degree or equivalent in human physiology, kinesiology, exercise physiology, applied physiology, or a closely related field awarded by the start date.
