The Department of Applied Physiology & Kinesiology (APK) at the University of Florida (UF) is searching for a full-time, non-tenure track Lecturer to join our team starting Spring 2025. 

This is a 9-month, 1.0 FTE, non-tenure track faculty position with potential summer employment opportunities.  Responsibilities related to this position may include, but are not limited to, designing and teaching courses in Motor Learning, Biomechanics, and/or Sport and Exercise Psychology.  Primary duties for this position are instructional, but involvement in service at the department, college, and university levels is also expected.    

Applicants must have an academic doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, or DSc) in kinesiology, exercise physiology, biobehavioral sciences, or a closely related discipline.  Applicants must possess good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.  Applicants should be passionate about student learning and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.  Additionally, applicants should have experience in developing new courses, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and integrating experiential learning into the curriculum.  Preference will be given to applicants with experience in online course design and instruction.
