Assistant Dean for Pre-Clerkship Curriculum-Univ South Carolina School of Medicine-Columbia

The University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, SC is seeking a student-centered faculty member to serve as the Assistant Dean for Pre-clerkship Curriculum. Reporting to the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education, the Assistant Dean plays a key leadership role in the delivery and advancement of the pre-clerkship curriculum. This position involves working closely with course, block and thread directors, the curriculum committee, and basic science departments to ensure curricular integration, quality, and alignment with the medical school program objectives. The Assistant Dean also champions initiatives that enhance student success, promote faculty development, and encourage innovation in curriculum design and teaching.
