The Alfaidi Laboratory at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow (0-2years after terminal degree) to join a dynamic translational cardiovascular research program focused on vascular inflammation, endothelial biology, and cardiopulmonary disease. Led by Dr. Mabruka Alfaidi, the laboratory investigates molecular mechanisms that drive endothelial dysfunction and vascular remodeling, with particular emphasis on interleukin-1 signaling, mechanotransduction, and endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT) in atherosclerosis and pulmonary hypertension.
