This position is a one-year appointment, 100% time, non-tenure track at the rank of Post Doc Assoc.
The successful candidate will be expected to operate independently and maintain general operation of the lab (ordering supplies, maintaining records, etc.), design experiments, conduct research, evaluate results, perform statistical analyses, publish data in scientific journals and make oral presentations. This individual is also expected to apply for extramural funding by means of post-doctoral fellowships and awards.   Duties:50% - research examining novel mechanisms involving forebrain structures of the brainin the long term regulation of blood pressure and the pathogenesis of hypertension.Projects involve characterizing the specific
