Tenure Track Faculty Position
The Department of Medical Physiology in the Texas A&M University College of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate professor rank. Individuals holding a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, with an outstanding record of innovative research and scholarly performance, and with demonstrated expertise in areas of research broadly related to physiology are encouraged to apply. The search is focused on research addressing current challenges in neural and endocrine contributions to diseases of metabolism (obesity, type II diabetes, metabolic syndrome, etc.), cardiovascular function (hypertension, chronic heart failure, etc.) and digestion (GERD, Celiac, Crohn's/IBS, etc.).
